So there is a thing which is Piggybacking, which is used when we want to transfer the data in a two way communications and there is no need to send special acknowledgment with the frame.

Whenever the traffic is in the reverse direction and we are supposed to send a frame with acknowledgment and we don't need to send special acknowledgment with the frame is known as piggybacking in computer networks.

Example of Piggybacking In Computer Networks
In the above image as you can see that whenever the sender needs to transmit any data to the receiver, they are supposed to send the frame to the receiver.
Moreover, the receiver needs to send acknowledgment only when they receive a frame from the sender and if they want to send the frame back to the sender, then they have to send in the next turn.
Now as the common scenario in real life when we have received something from someone, then we have to give some thanks kind of words or need to give some message about what we have received right.
So, here the same thing happens, when the receiver receives a frame or data from the sender they need to give acknowledgment known as a message to the receiver that whatever the data or frame the sender has sent that is received by the receiver successfully.
this is deal is quite good, but what about the scenario when the receiver also wants to share his frame or data with the sender in two-way communications.
So here the receiver needs to send the data after they have received the frame from the sender and for that receiver need to utilize higher bandwidth of the network, when they receive a frame from the sender and again send an acknowledgment to the sender and again send next frame to the sender.
So the problem can persist for bandwidth in these situations, so solving the problem of the same, networks have introduces the concept of piggybacking in computer networks.
The solution of Piggybacking in Computer Network
So Friends, now what happened here is in the piggybacking, there is no need to send a special acknowledgment for the received frame.
As above image you can see, that when receiver receives the frame or data from the sender then as a general they need to send the acknowledgment back to the sender, but due to piggybacking in computer network concept here receiver doesn't need to send special acknowledgment, they can send his another frame back to the sender along with acknowledgment.
